In shadow of reality, there is a world like Saudi writes Tina Khatri👀

In 21-century world where dating, divorces, crime, accidents, attacks and everything seems inevitable, there is a different world in this same world. Much like the idea of Atlantis, this world sounds submerged in some different era.

Of course, it is not even close to perfect and many would argue that it is a life in prison. However, there is a much positive perspective that is often overlooked by our limited mind and lack of openness.

I am talking about Saudi Arabia. Let me walk you through a usual day in Saudi… You wake up early in the morning before sunrise and offer prayers to the lord, expressing gratitude and reminding yourself the purpose of life. The purpose in plain words is to dedicate this life to the lord and accept everything as a blessing.

Further, as your day progresses, you fulfil your duties. When at work, your entire focus is work. Wait… the route to work involves greeting and paying respect to everyone you come across.

Every few hours, you must remind yourself and follow the ritualistic prayers. Going on, your focus has no time or capacity to divert. There is nothing called ‘distraction’.

If you listen to a song, it is just words… no music. It must be played in your heart. Of course, the idea of multitasking is far off here.

An important aspect that affects and diverts our minds is the hunt of a life partner or someone to please our needs. The concept doesn’t exist here at all.

Forget dating, if you were found with the opposite sex chatting while having no connection with the person, then you would be stoned to death. Sounds horrible, isn’t it?

However, this also means that there is no chance to look at a girl or a boy out of lust and nothing more. You must respect every being for its own existence and not seek your own pleasures from everyone you come across.

So, how does dating and marriage work here? Don’t people get married? Of course, they do.

Falling in love is still a part of this society… It is much deeper, more committed and life-long. If a teenage boy/girl falls in love with another, it is simply based on a deep feeling. The event of looking at a person is enough to know everything about them.

You don’t need logical experience or judgement about the person. The boy must grow up, earn enough to provide a home and every luxury for the girl.

He focuses and works towards it. One day, when he has enough to offer the girl, he will send out a marriage proposal, which if the girls feels the same way, will be accepted.

Waiting for a decade to be with each other simply communicating with their hearts, how do you expect these people to consider breaking up?😎

However, there is another reason, breaking up isn’t easy here. It’s not ‘talaq talaq talaq’. Rather, if you must divorce or marry, you must still provide everything for the family. The woman also must provide similar reasons and strengths to ever consider breaking up. She should be willing to lose it all and he must be willing to lose her, while providing.

It seems similar to most countries, but this is not just a legal code. It’s a life. It’s the deeper understanding of life and feeling that keeps these people going on.

Life in Saudi sounds difficult and almost a suffering for many of us. However, when was the last time we felt such strong feelings and learned to commit ourselves to a reason?
