Khajrana Temple to have a cowshed & Bhakt Sadan soon, as proposal finally approved

Planned for years, the plan for making a huge cowshed on the premise of Sri Khajrana Ganesh temple to be built soon.
The ancient temple of Khajrana with lord Ganesh will build a huge cowshed and a multi-story building called 'Bhakt Sadan'.
Prakash Dubey from the temple committee said the proposal has been passed and the design has been prepared by an Indore-based private construction firm. “We have planned to set up a cowshed in the temple campus, where at least 40-50 cows can be accommodated comfortably,” he said.
The long pending proposal could not be materialised before, due to lack of adequate land. However, now the committee has now decided to go ahead with the project.
Similarly, another building ‘Bhakt Sadan’ was proposed to be built in 2019, which got delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
"As a number of devotees visit this temple from across India and overseas, therefore, providing them with a safe lodging place has been a need. The new multi-story building will be called Bhakt Sadan, which will have at least 50 rooms and a big size gallery where 200-250 people can gather for prayer," Dubey said.
As per the records and budget, the construction will cost around Rs 6 crore combined for Bhakt Sadan and cowshed. The land portion of around 7,000 square metres is required for these constructions.
As per the information shared by committee representative, the prabandhan samiti wil build both the cowshed and Bhakt Sadan with the money received from devotees as donation.
“Almost all preparations have been done, including necessary approval from the government authorities, but the only hurdle is acquisition of land. Once the land acquisition is done, the construction process will start," Ashok Bhatt, head priest of the temple, said.
