- 2 medium potatoes (boiled and mashed)
- ½ cup grated paneer

- ½ teaspoon red chilli powder
- ½ teaspoon garam masala or mixed herbs
- Salt to taste
- 1 teaspoon oil (for brushing or spraying)
- Boil and mash potatoes until smooth with absolutely no lumps.
- Add paneer, salt, spices, green chilli (optional), and cornflour or breadcrumbs.
- Mix well until it forms a soft dough that cleanly holds its shape.
- If sticky: add a little more cornflour.
- If dry: add a few drops of water or milk.
- Take small portions of the seasoned potato mixture and shape them into small cylinders or oval tater tots.
- Preheat your air fryer to 180°C.
- Lightly brush or spray oil on the tots and place them in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Air fry for 10–12 minutes, making sure to give the basket a gentle shake halfway through.
- Optional crispiness tip: Air fry for an extra 2–3 minutes at 200°C for a super golden crunch!
