Causes of rising knee problems in youngsters
Obesity and lack of stretching for muscles
Lack of vitamin D, due to low sunlight exposure
RO water filters out vitamin D as well
Running or excessive walking on concrete jerks and damages knee
Working on treadmills is like just moving ahead on one place, and it worse when done on inclination causing anterior arthritis

• Very early symptoms of osteoarthritis are intermittent pain with strenuous activity; over time, the pain is present more often
• Morning stiffness or stiffness after a period of inactivity, usually lasting less than 30 minutes
• Joint grinding
• Any patient with unexplained fever, anaemia, weakness, weight loss, fatigue, loss of appetite and recurrent abortions is at risk, so get a check-up soon.
How to care for knees?
• Quadriceps strengthening exercises
Simple exercise: Lie on your back on the floor or another flat surface. Bend one knee and place your foot flat on the floor. Keeping the other leg straight, raise it to the height of the opposite knee.
• Vastus Medialis Oblique (VMO) strengthening exercise
• Maintain weight
• Don’t run or walk for more than 10 kilometres
