Start-ups are all set to help the health department with their innovative technologies with sanitiser pod & automatic sanitiser

Young start-ups are all set to help the health department with their innovative technologies. A start-up prepared sensor powered automatic sanitizer machine, which was presented to MGM Medical College by city congress committee.
In another initiative, two start-ups came together and made a sanitisation pod. The pod was also given to Indore Municipal Corporation (IMC) to be installed at Health Department near Palika Plaza.
Following are details about the two innovations from Indore’s start-ups for helping healthcare workers in fighting covid-19 infection:

Sanitisation Pod
EV Energy and Cargo Pod, two  Indore based start-ups working developed a walk through sanitization tunnel christened as Urjapod from used and waste material to sanitize corona warriors, health workers, IMC and district administration employees and prevent them from corona infection.
Seeing the usefulness of this sanitization pod, Indore Municipal Corporation has installed it in the Health Department near Palika Plaza in the city. According to Deputy Commissioner of Municipal Corporation, Rohan Saxena, a person can be sanitized from this pod in less than 20 seconds through spray Sodium Hypochlorite solution.
He said that this sanitization pod will be set up at other government offices phase wise. Sanyog Tiwari, chief executive officer of EV Urja, said that this prototype sanitization pod has been manufactured in the least time possible with waste materials. People passing through this Urjapod will get sanitized by automatic spray sodium Hypochlorite solution, he said.                   .

Automatic hand sanitiser
“Since, we have to use sanitizer repeatedly to avoid fatal diseases like corona virus, the way medical staff take care of us day and night by putting corona virus at risk. Investigating infected people and treating them, it is our responsibility to protect their lives so that they too can be safe,” said city Congress committee president Vinay Bakliwal.
Considering this, the committee had allotted the project to a start-up named YoYo. The sensor powered sanitiser was gifted to Dr Jyoti Bindal and Dr Sumit Shukla of Indore MGM Medical College.
A similar project was also prepared recently in Indore by 14-year-old Nilabh Singh, who was the first to develop an automatic sanitiser dispenser in 48 hours!
