Indore: Daly College Business Management holds week-long Fitness First workshop for fit future managers

Quoting the need for fitness especially in corona pandemic times, a six-day online Zumba workshop ‘Fitness First’ was organised by Daly College of Business Management on social media platform.

Students, their parents and faculty members participated in this workshop. The main goal of this Zumba workshop was to bring back the agility and energy in the students which this lockdown has taken away.

In these six days, management students worked on being fit and felt energised due to release of endorphins. Endorphins are released when one works out.

Students learned a lot about zumba, yoga and Pilate. Sharing this, Dr Sonal Sisodia, principal said, “It is must for all of us to have a healthy mind and body to survive in these trying times.”

She motivated all to continue the exercises even after the workshop.

Administrator Mayurdhwaj Singh said, “Managers often ignore their physical fitness, which affects their life and survival.” To educate and ensure that future managers are also fit, the workshop was organised.

Prof Neetika Shrivastava said, “Taking on a fun workout can help a person become better at their tasks, especially management.” She added that nowadays fitness activities are helpful in even networking and bonding, which are essential for managers.
