Scheduled for Saturday, 9 May 2026, the walkathon is being led by Aarti Maheshwari in association with World of Fitness and the Indore Municipal Corporation (IMC). With its theme ‘Walk for Water & Clean Indore’, the event seeks to turn a routine morning walk into a shared civic effort.

Aarti Maheshwari with her daughter Vibhuti: Celebrating a lifelong connection this Mother's Day.

The walkathon encourages mothers and children across all age groups to participate. Conceived as a tribute to motherhood, the initiative blends celebration with a call for healthier living and environmental awareness in our community.

Motherhood doesn’t change with time—it only deepens. Even as children grow up and start their own lives, that connection remains. Chalomumma is about celebrating that lifelong bond and reminding ourselves that walking side by side means everything.

Beyond the walk, the morning will feature Zumba sessions and informal interactions, creating a lively, community-led atmosphere. Registered participants will receive T-shirts, caps, medals, and refreshments.

As registrations open, Indore is poised for a vibrant turnout. It serves as a reminder: the strongest steps we take are the ones we take together—tributes to the women who raised us and strides toward the world they deserve.
