Ingredients
- 2 medium zucchini
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 small tomato or 2 tablespoons ketchup
- ½ cup boiled corn or peas
- ½ cup grated cheese (optional)
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon oil or butter
Instructions
- Cut zucchini lengthwise and scoop out a shallow centre.
- Chop the scooped zucchini pulp and keep it aside.
- Mix onion, tomato or ketchup, corn or peas, chopped zucchini pulp, salt, pepper, and oil or butter in a bowl.
- Fill the zucchini halves with the prepared mixture.
- Add grated cheese on top if using.
- Bake at 180°C for 15–20 minutes until zucchini becomes soft and topping is lightly golden.
- If oven is not available, cook covered on a low flame in a pan until tender.
Serve warm.
2. Cute Co-op Express!
- Sketch a light horizontal line across the upper third of your page, placing a single vanishing dot on the far left.
- Extend three lines from that dot down and to the right to map out a widening track and the top edge of your train.
- On the right, sketch a big engine circle with a smiling face, adding a rounded grill, a stubby smokestack, and a little cabin behind.
- Follow the tracks back toward the dot, using vertical lines to frame open-top wagons packed with bright carrots, apples, and pumpkins.
- Sketch round wheels that shrink as they approach the dot, adding wooden track ties that pack tightly together in the distance.
- Clear away your pencil guidelines, add bubbly puffs of steam from the smokestack, and bring it to life with brilliant, vibrant tones.
3. Veggie Weight Mystery: Can You Solve It?
The school community garden just harvested their fresh vegetables! They have sorted them onto four market platters as shown in the image. Using the weights given for the first three platters, can you work out the mystery weight (? kg) of the final platter holding the two cucumbers?
