Reviving memories of 90s, peek into past... Nostalgia

It is incredible how much we grew in a decade and amazing how much faster technology has grown in the last two decades. In figures, 2019 so going back to 1999.
Times were clearly simpler, less advanced and limited in some ways. We could not click a button and discover thousands and lacks of articles and details about every tiny subject from entertaining movies to scientific theories.

Yes, it took a trip to the library and an hour of browsing to dig out a topic. It was a time when most would wonder how others know about the latest hip songs, discoveries, secret affairs and more. It seemed impossible to be a part of every grapevine, since they were never limited to one.
There were idle times, when even kids could wander about and find faces in clouds. Yes, it was a limited time.
A time when even entertainment on television was limited. A time when only imagination did not know bounds. When one had to wait to hear the latest songs...
A time when dinners at restaurant on special occasions meant so much more than just a coffee in cafe. When moments of joy at restaurants with live music were awaited.
Yes, it was  limited time indeed. But it had time for dreams beyond screens.
With these limitations, sky was the canvas where every changing season brought new lessons. It was a time when even power cuts were fun with hand fans, games and get-together on terrace.
Though we are advanced with endless possibilities, the pleasure of experiencing life still lies in simplicity. There are disco-jockey system with high quality sounds and easy access to music from all over the world... Still, the pleasure of listening to someone sing is priceless.
There are endless recipes and food delivery facilities, but the feelings and taste of home-cooked meals is still priceless. Sadly, yes, in the world of possibilities, we don't have time to enjoy the little priceless because it is a fast-paced time where the world changes every morning with a new invention.
Just sometimes, a little peak into the past where development is limited, but life is magnanimous.
