Confused by the sunlight and sudden rains? This is very likely to continue at least till September 2, as per the forecast of Indian Meteorological Department. Further, one can expect thunderstorms and heavy rains on September 4.
Though it was raining, the temperature did not feel the ‘cool’ and rather increased by over 1 degree Celsius. The minimum temperature noted on Friday was 23 degree Celsius, which was 1.3 degree Celsius higher than before. Hence, the night was warmer and not-so-comfortable for many residents in the city.
The maximum temperature experienced a little lesser variation as compared to night temperature because of rains. The mercury touched 30 mark again as the maximum temperature recorded was 30.0 degree Celsius.
This was 1.1 degree Celsius higher than the day before. The humidity change was seen from 90 percent in the morning to 79 percent in the evening.
The downpour increased the overall rainfall received by <amount1> to <amount2>. The required rainfall for meeting the city’s requirement is about 32 to 24 inches. Indore has already crossed 32-inch mark prior to Friday by recording a rainfall of 32.69 inches.
“There will be frequent clouds similar to today, in the coming days, as we are citing more such dark clouds in the coming days,” met department official said. The drizzling continued in the city varying in different area.
“There was sudden rainfall seen in most parts of the city and such variable rains in different parts will be common for another couple of days,” the official said. Further, one can expect the temperature to go down eventually, but no sudden relief is forecasted as yet.
