However, this freedom comes with a cost of raising children, who are more prone to suffering from anxiety disorders specifically separation anxiety disorder.

World Senior Citizen’s Day is celebrated on the 21st of August each year. It was first proclaimed by the General Assembly of the United Nations on December 14, 1990.

When older adults contribute to the well-being of youth, it cultivates a sense of purpose and extends benefits both ways, according to a new study conducted at Stanford centre for longevity. Contrary to widespread beliefs that older populations consume resources that would otherwise go to youth, there is growing reason to think that older people may be just the resource children need. In fact, it is observed, studied and concluded that children, who live in nuclear families tend to suffer more from separation anxiety and other psychological disorders of insecurity.

Passing on lessons is biggest achievement
I am best friends with my grandsons and have been able to pass on my lesson to sports to them. Though I could get my son interested in sports, I could never get him into becoming a passionate sportsperson like myself. My grandsons have taken up on my passion and I think, that is the biggest achievement of my life. I have many medals in my closet, but being able to gift something that will make my grandsons’ life healthier is my biggest achievement.

Being an artist, like most artists, I am fond of traditional folk art of India. There is an essence and life in those art forms, which allow us to freely express life.
