Create Stories: Group Art Exhibition Kala Ke Rang presents artworks of 36 artists

Create Stories Social Welfare Society inaugurated two-day Group Art Exhibition Kala Ke Rang Edition Seven at Canarys Art Gallery Indore . Organisor Deepak Sharma told that 36 Artists from Indore and different cities from 8 to 57 Years exhibited their art work. In exhibition different forms of art are being displayed like oil painting , mural , watercolor,  sketches , acrylic works , photography,  landscape , folk arts etc are displayed.

Two-day art exhibition ‘Kala Ke Rang: Expressions of Life’ organised by Create Stories Social Welfare Society showcasing artworks of 36 artists from different walks of life at Canarys art gallery concluded on Sunday. About 5,000 people witnessed the artworks and expressed their opinion about the current trends and evolving artworks.

After inaugurating the exhibition, Bharat Sharma, NCF Member, Ministry OF Culture commented, “Art is a way to preserve our culture, tradition and heritage. Giving platform to these artists, Create Stories is taking a step in preparing a database of our culture and heritage.” He was amazed by the variety of artworks presented from portraits, landscapes to abstract and crafts.

Discussing her experience, special guest Padma Shri Dr Janak Palta appreciated the organiser Deepak Sharma for his contribution in the field of art. “Most people think about monetary gains, but Deepak has been working for society development for many years and looking at such youngsters gives us hope for better future,” she said.

A workshop on ‘Doodle art with fountain pen’ was also organised to inspire artists to revisit the simple designs, essential to Indian art forms. “With just one colour, one can build a 3D artwork as seen in our scriptures and Indian historical art,” Sharma said.

Senior artist Shubha Vaidya taught principles of doodle art and encouraged participants to be innovative. Following the workshop, a competition of preparing the best doodle on ‘Indore’ was organised.

Artists prepared various doodles showing cleanliness, smartness, history, developments and dreams of Indore in the competition. Harsh Gagwani awarded gifts and certificates of the doodle workshop and competition. Dr Apoorv Shrivastava awarded recognition of exhibition to the presenting artists and appreciated their work.

WHERE & HOW TO USE DOODLES?
Senior Artist Shubha Vaidya took workshop on Doodle Art with Fountain Pen. She said that doodle is unfocused or unconscious drawing made while a person's attention is otherwise occupied. Doodles are simple drawings that can have concrete representational meaning or may just be abstract shapes.'
