Mathematics phobia is real and more dangerous than we often realise. All the students attempting CBSE Class X 2019-20 board examinations will be attempting Mathematics examination. In order to score well and clear the examination, they need not only be fearless, but also well-prepared.

What’s new in Mathematics 2019-20 for class X?
From this year on, students will have to face multiple choice questions (MCQ) in mathematics as well. MCQs often confuse students by providing close answers. Hence, it is important that students revise and practice solving questions meticulously.

Revision is the key. One must revise and ensure proper understanding of every topic.
Making self-notes can help a lot.
Regular practice and continuous revision is more essential than last minute practice.
Regular practice of at least 2 hours can do miracles, start now!

How to attempt class X Math Exam?
Those questions which are easier for you must attempt first.
Don’t waste time on anyone question.
Be calm and cool. No excitement No nervousness.
Write the step-wise answer to each question as in CBSE Exams, separate marks are given for each step.
In addition to having a correct answer, you will also be assessed by the methods and principles applied in a solution.
Feel free to think out your answers on rough paper where you feel struck or confused. It will help you to understand the question quicker and write a proper solution for it.
Draw graphs and figures wherever required as it can help you to score more marks if you make them with concentration and neatness.
Maintain speed and accuracy hand in hand.
Spare at least 15 minutes in last to recheck your answers and numbering of questions to avoid any silly mistakes that might take away your important marks.
