How to improve English? Here is the right guidance from expert of CBSE Class XII board examination 2019-20

With the English examination for CBSE Class XII board coming up on Feb 27, anxiety levels are high. While you might have studied the language throughout the year, students often feel nervous and jittery when it comes to examination.
With a couple of days left for the examination, English teacher Bhanu Pratap Singh guides students on how to prepare for the examination with last minute revision tips.

Section B- Writing Skills

Important chapters for Short Answer Questions: Lost Spring, Going Places, The Tiger King, and Should Wizard Hit Mommy.

How to attempt English examination & score well?

SECTION- A READING
Read the passages carefully, select answers wisely when you have options in a question, try to answer the questions in own words in two to three lines only.
In Note-Making, the title, sub-headings, numbering and the abbreviations [minimum four] must be written properly according to prescribed format.

SECTION-B WRITING –SKILLS 
Students must work on writing skills extensively. 
Notice different formats used in the sections and stick to them. Take special care of formats of invitations, advertisement, notice, letter writing, article, debate, speech, report writing.
Heading, dates, subject, introduction, beginning, conclusion, quotes, phrases etc should be used along with Capital letters, bold letters.
Underline main titles and points.

SECTION-C LITERATURE
The following points must be noted:     
Each 2- mark question must have two value points                             
Each 6- mark question must have four value points.
You have very good chance for scoring full marks in section-C. Your answers should be precise and shouldn’t deviate an inch from the main topic. Your display should be neat. Use important words and phrases from the text. Depend completely on the prescribed prose and poetry for the answer. You may refer to some good reference books. Do not leave out any question, if you are not sure of the answer, leave some space according to the allotted marks and come back to it later.
Solving previous years’ paper, solved papers is always a good idea. It will help you to know the content of the particular topic.
