Physical Education (PE) examination was
conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Monday. Most
science students opted for this subject as they felt, it would boost their
percentage.
Over 6,700 students from across the country
appeared for the exam and the question paper was quite easy to attempt.
According to initial feedbacks the
examination was easy and manageable. Most students are expecting good marks.
Physical Education exam paper was of 70
marks and the duration of the examination was of three hours. The question
paper consisted of around 34 questions and all were compulsory.
Unlike most other examination, most students
were relaxed on Monday, as they were expecting an easy paper. Though the
examination was not tough, addition of MCQs (multiple choice questions)
confused students.
“I am sure of scoring over 95 marks (out of 100) in PE,
I could be sure of 100 marks if I did not get confused in MCQs,” Dhiraj Kheman,
a student, said. He felt the paper was quite easy and comfortable for all the
students.
“There was no struggle against time or difficulties
in understanding questions, as many were even directly taken from NCERT book,”
Nisha Sharma, a student, said. She added that good marks in PE will help her in
getting a better overall percentage in class XII board exams.
“The thing about MCQs is that there were
not enough sample questions to go through. Two or three questions were confusing
and I just realised I marked the wrong answer. Rest of the paper was easy,”
Taran Dhiman, a student, said.
According to PE teachers, average students
can score about 45 to 50 (out of a total 70 marks) in the theory paper noting
it as an ‘easy’ paper.
