Expert for enhancing employability skills, making management students ready for industries: #PIMR-IQAC organizes Leadership Development Program

Due to the COVID 19 pandemic, Learning Management  System (LMS) has became an integral part of the eLearning course design and development process and the need of hour for effective teaching and learning processes in higher education, said Mayank Kewaliya, Workflow Analyst, TCS Mumbai, while addressing a two-day webinar  on ’“Leadership Development Program” organized by the Prestige  Institute  of Management and Research, Indore under the aegis of Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC). While  laying emphasis on the importance of the learning management system (LMS), he demonstrated the relevance of the main components of LMS and its transition from classroom learning to eLearning.

Dr. Selveraj Vadivelu, Associate Vice President, Sasken Technologies Limited, while addressing on the topic  ‘How to prepare industry-ready managers’, 
shed light on the importance of employability skills and laid emphasis on making management students ready for the industries and how management institutes can prepare them for it. He said that the appropriate content and suitable pedagogy must be in alignment with the specific requirements of the industries to ensure the course enhances skills and the employability of the students.

 Dr. Pallavi Agarwal, who moderated and conducted the program, said that the Leadership development program is one of the most requisite programmes for every institution to adapt itself for the constant new challenges, evolve and grow itself for the new prominent roles.

Dr. Deepak Jaroliya, said that IQAC is playing a pivotal role in enhancing the quality standards in teaching, learning, and evaluation process. He said the PIMR has been authorized to mentor 5 educational institutes of India under the ‘NAAC Paramarsh Scheme’ of UGC.
