`HR educators need to prepare next generation Managers’ PIMR hosts week-long E-Faculty Development Programme

Indore: HR educators need to be ready to prepare the next generation of Managers to face the new Normal work arena. Acknowledging the gaps, addressing them and finding ways to fill the gaps, through courses, research etc will be the course of action for a winning HR professional, opined experts during week long National E-Faculty Development Programme, ”VIVECHANA”-Realigning HRM Education 2020” organized by the department of Human Resources Management and General Management of the Prestige Institute of Management and Research. The Online FDP was attended by 350 faculty members from all across India and abroad.

Dr. Rajnish Ratna from GCBS, Royal University of Bhutan discussed the intricacies of HR Analytics. He demonstrated the usage of HR Analytics in taking crucial business decisions. Dr. Anil Mehta from the School of Legal Studies, Banasthali university emphasized on the need for skilling amongst the managers to bridge the gaps of employment.

Dr. Prasanna Kumari , Director, Kuttukaran Institute for HRD, Cochin shared her research findings regarding the need for HR professionals and HR educators to align their skills by keeping themselves updated with changing corporate demands. Dr. Anukool Hyde and Dr. Jyoti Vyas Bajpai, senior faculties, PIMRm Indore, who coordinated the week-long programme said the FDP was attended by over 350 eminent scholars and faculty members from across the country.

Earlier, PIMR Director, Dr. Yogeshwari Phatak stressed the need for Management education to be dynamic and fully in sync with the changing demands. COO, Prestige University, Dr. Anil Bajpai emphasized upon the role of HR to take the centre stage as the strategic business leader.
