Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education has decided to take 10th-12th examinations on the old pattern, due to which the board has now sent question banks to all schools based on the old pattern.
Also, the school operators have been asked to prepare the children for the main examination on the basis of the old question bank.
Further, the board has said that if possible, schools must take additional classes and prepare students in difficult subjects for attempting board examinations.
New pattern slashed away, old to stay
In view of the corona virus infection, chairman of MPBSE Radheshyam Julania had declared a new pattern of the question paper of the 10th-12th examination last month. He had also prepared a blueprint based on the same.
Further, the board was about to announce changes in the system of evaluation of copies matching the new pattern.
However, the School Education Department objected to this. Later it was decided that the question papers would be prepared on the old pattern itself and based on this, both the classes would be tested.
Also, the system of evaluation will remain the same. Now the board has sent the question banks to the schools on the basis of the old pattern.
Preparation using question banks
Along with this, schools have also been told that due to corona infection, the course is not completed in schools, so prepare the children for the main exam on the basis of question bank and also additional classes in schools for difficult subjects like English, Mathematics, Science, etc.
Based on the old pattern, the board sent the students a new question bank. Further, board has informed school operators that on the basis of same, students must prepare for the main examination.
Additionally, board has asked schools to start taking extra classes even on Sundays if required.
