Madhya Pradesh: Admission test for Navodaya Vidyalaya postponed, next date to be announced later

Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (JNVS) has postponed the entrance examination of class VI for Madhya Pradesh along with most other states of India. This examination was to be held on May 16.

The committee has taken this decision due to the growing infection of Corona. The new exam date will be announced at least 15 days before the exam.

In such a situation, the students going to appear in the examination and their guardian can see the official notice by visiting the official website of JNVS: www.navodaya.gov.in.

As per the notification issued by JNVS, the selection test for admission in class VI for the academic session 2020-21 which was scheduled on May 16 in all the states and union territories except Mizoram and Nagaland, has been postponed.

The exam is being postponed in several states due to the growing outbreak of Corona and administrative reasons. The new exam date will be released soon on the official website.

Students should keep in mind that the new date of examination will be declared 15 days before the examination. This exam is conducted in offline mode for admission in NVS class VI.

In this exam, 80 questions of total 100 marks will be asked. At the same time, all questions will be objective type. The question paper will have three sections - Mental Ability, Arithmetic Test and Language Test.

Second postponement after April 10

In Mizoram, Meghalaya and Nagaland, this examination will be taken in the second phase on June 19. This is not the first time when the JNVS has changed the exam dates, before that the exam was scheduled to be held on April 10.

Even then, the committee postponed the exam due to administrative reasons. After this, now the date of the entrance examination has been further extended.
