Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) collected over 83.25 crore rupees from over 9 lakh students in state for class 10 board examination. Class 10 MPBSE board examinations were cancelled due to coronavirus second wave and its spread in the state.

However, the board is not considering returning the amount and instead enjoying a good profit from the exam form fee.

Now preparations are going on to prepare the results of the students. On the other hand, with the cancellation of the examination, the board will earn a profit of Rs 73 crore. Actually, a fee of Rs 925 per student has been charged for filling the tenth examination form.

This year over 10 lakh students were going to attend class 10 board examinations. Out of this, if the fee of one lakh students of reserved category is reduced, then the revenue of the Board has been increased by filling the examination form with only normal fee of Rs 83 crore from nine lakh students.

Even if the board has spent about ten crores of rupees in preparing the question papers and answer books or sending the amount to the districts for practical, then also MPBSE will save and earn profit of 73 crores rupees from the examination form.

At the same time, MPBSE has issued an order to schools to order the amount allocated for the experimental examination to be deposited in the board's account.

In view of this, the Private School Association has also demanded from the Board to return the examination fee to the students.

Apart from this, the examination form was also filled with late fees from about one lakh students.
