Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education to formulate its own technique for board results, first draft sent to state ministers on Sunday

The officials of the School Education Department and Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) have together prepared the formula for the result of Higher Secondary, which was sent to the Group of Ministers constituted for the same, on Sunday.

After considering it, the Group of Ministers will place it before Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. Meetings were going on in the ministry and MPBSE for the last 15 days to decide the result formula.

During this, the officials considered many aspects. Even though a close analysis and observation was done of the formula of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for result declaration, it won’t be followed in the state.

Efforts were made to implement CBSE's formula in the state, but it is not possible to implement it, as there is no record of the last annual examination of 11th, quarter and six months of higher secondary examination and internal assessment in the state.

Difficulty in formulating the result of the exam

Before this, it was very difficult to decide the formula for the 12th examination results, when the 11th marks of the students were called from the schools, it was found that last year also the examination was not held due to Corona.

Further, in this academic session due to wide spread of coronavirus and the risk involved, schools could not open and no project work was done.

In the academic session, there was a half yearly examination, in which the answer sheet were taken home by students. Students answered the questions at home and submitted the answer sheet to the school. However, many students did not submit the answer sheets too.

It is believed that this time the 12th exam result will be 100%. No injustice is done to any student, so that every student can get qualifying marks who have appeared in online classes.

There are as many as 38000 class 12 students of Indore District who were to write the board examination out of which over 5000 were give the exam in private mode. On the other hand, the officials of Indore district have already submitted the list of marks of class 10 students of the state board to the Bhopal office.

Students in Indore awaiting board results

There are over 43000 class 10 students from over 500 schools of Indore district including government and private state board schools who will be getting promoted to the next class via the formulation of the results on the basis of assessment. Out of the total number of students, there are over 10000 students from government schools, shared by divisional officer Deven Sonwani.
