Mar Thoma Public School, Indore, appointed the student council with Prefectorial Responsibilities on Tuesday, wherein the newly elected members of the students (Chairman, Vice chairman, Secretary) & House Captains took the pledge to uphold the School motto.
The elected members received their badges and sashes from the school senior principal Rev Toms Ninan. All the members reiterated their commitment and expressed gratitude to school for believing in them.
After the entire team was conferred with the badges, school principal Sheenu Thomas administered the oath.
The senior principal in his initiation speech wished good luck to the elected members and advised them to keep their thinking and conscience clear. He also said that the worth of the badge lies in taking up responsibilities whole heartedly with a sense of pride and self worth. The event concluded with the National Anthem.
