Surprisingly, out of total 9 thousand students in class 10th, 4,500 students are sitting from Morena, Bhind, Satna and Gwalior, while 700 are from Bhopal and Indore.
Apart from this, the remaining students are from all over the state. This time around 10 lakh students had registered for board examinations of class 10th.
Similarly, in class 12th, Bhind and Indore have the maximum number of 600 students, while the rest of the 5,000 are from across the state. About 7 lakh students had registered for class 12th board examination.
The examination was not conducted due to the condition that the children were not sitting due to corona. All the children were marked as pass in class 10th and class 12th following general promotion scheme.
In such a situation, to avoid legal trouble, the School Education Department gave the option of special examination for the students unhappy with the result. Due to terms and condition laid on it, most of the children avoided registering for the special exam.
Condition laid on special exams
Deven Sonwani, divisional officer, said, “Students have received their result based on general promotions now, but if they give the exam, then only their second result will be valid irrespective of marks attained.”
Further, he added that if a student appears in the main examination for the improvement of marks in all the subjects and in the particular examination, the student fails in 1 or more than one subject, then his/her final examination result will be supplementary or failed as per norms.
“In such a case, supplementary or fail mark sheet will be given to the student,” Sonwani said.
Similarly, student with current result as passed by declared as failed if he/she fails or remains absent for the examination.
Examination will be held from September 6
For private and regular students of class 10th and 12th, the examination will start from September 6. 10th will run till 15th September and 12th till 21st September. The timing of both will be from 9 am to 12 noon. Both the examinations will be held simultaneously, the students appearing in the examination will be able to take their admit card from September 1 on the portal of MP Online.
Class 10th Result
In class 10th, and a half lakh students had given the exam. Out of this, 3 lakh 56 thousand 582 (39%) first, 3 lakh 97 thousand 762 (43.50%) second and 15 thousand 871 (17.48%) students have passed third division.
Class 12th Result
MP Board's 12th result was 100%, but only 52% students could pass in the first division. 40% passed in second division and 7% students passed from third division.
