National Science Day was celebrated at Vidyasagar School on the culmination of Science Week-2022 with great enthusiasm on Monday.
The theme for the program was "Integrated Approach in Science & Technology for Sustainable Future". The chief guests for the occasion were Dr Tushar Banerjee (HOD Life Science Department, DAVV, Indore) and Neeraj Desai (Educationist and Industrialist, Indore).
KS Kapasya-Ex Administrator Daly College was also present on the occasion as a special guest.
Importance of National Science Day was highlighted with students’ project presentation of different subjects like Physics, English, Hindi, Sanskrit and History.
Demonstrations and Presentations on various topics like "Food Adulteration and Simple Techniques to check it", "Role of Acids, Bases and pH in Daily life" were performed by the students.
Banerjee in his address acknowledged and appreciated the hard work and efforts of the students. He highlighted the need and importance of -"asking questions" for improvement.
He also urged to link Science with Technology for sustainable development.
Desai emphasized with examples on the wide range of options and opportunities in the field of science. He also urged to decide and follow carrier path options from the beginning.
School Principal Dr Dinesh C Sharma in his articulated speech highlighted the importance and value of Science and scientific temperament in daily life.
