Meet toppers of CISCE ICSE board examinations from Indore
Girls outshine boys again and bag top two positions in Class 10 (ICSE) examinations. Passing with flying colours in Class 10 (ICSE) examinations conducted by Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), female students in Indore set an inspirational example despite covid-19 restrictions.
CISCE declared the results for ICSE (Class 10) on Sunday evening at 5 pm. The board examinations of CISCE followed the pattern of CBSE’s covid-19 adaptability. Hence, the board examinations were split in two terms or semesters.
Semester 1 examination was held in November/December 2021 and the semester 2 examinations were held from April/May 2022. As previously announced, CISCE ICSE result were announced on Sunday.
Indore’s city topper is Shravi Bansal. She scored 97.4 per cent.
Bagging second place, Kirti Kumari is the second city topper with a score of 97 per cent.
The third spot is also bagged by an inspirational girl named Animesh Agrawal. He scored 96.8 per cent and made his mark in the city.
With a dream to do something big, the girls will now opt for Science stream in Class 11. Shravi and Animesh dream of studying in Indian Institute of Technology (IIT).

"I scored was more than I expected. I was expecting around 96 per cent. I want to become engineering. I want to study in IIT. I want to study computer science. I am fond of technology. It is the future. I have always scored well in exam. I have a younger brother (Anay) who will follow the example. My parents (associate prof Shraddha and software engineer Vinay Bansal) are my role-models. My aim is to study Computer Science at IIT Bombay before anything else. I love playing volleyball and basketball. I am learning Kathak. Along with exam, I continued my hobby."

“Being a city topper is news to me. I cannot believe it. I am overwhelming. I was expecting that my friends will score well. Our school campus changed. Covid-19 break affected our studies. I was worried. But I worked hard to score well. After the classes, I worked on my subjects. I had completed most of my other subjects in Class 9. My parents (homemaker Sunita and retired BSF officer and administer Yogendra) supported me. I have two elder siblings (Grijesh and Harish) motivated me. I am not sure about my future yet.”

“I am preparing to get into IIT Bombay and study in Computer Science. I was particularly in computer science in class 10. I am preparing now for the exam from 8 am to 7:30 pm. I have scored till 95 per cent before. My father is a businessman. He did not study much. My mother is a post graduate in Hindi literature. I studied online and at offline classes. I have a younger brother (Govind), who is studying in class 4. I like playing cricket, but now, have to stop for preparing for IIT.

"I feel excited. My efforts have paid off. My grandfather passed away a month before exam. I was so nervous. I was heartbroken. My mother (Chumki) has always been teaching. I couldn't go to my hometown. So, only my father (Sanjoy) could go. Nevertheless, my grandfather must be happy today. I want to go and study in IIT. That's my dream. My ideal is my mother. She has taught me everything I know."

"I can't explain how happy I am. I scored 96 per cent in ICSE exam. I was worried that I did not do that well in some subjects like English. I am a really panicky about it. I scored 92 percent in it. I was struggling well in Grammar during the year. My parents (Munira and (late) Ali Azhar Tikiwala) are very proud. My step-dad (Mustafa Hasmi) stays in Dubai. He regularly motivated me. I stay with my grandparents. My parents talks to me every day. I want to become a doctor. I will give NEET. I was confused before. Now, I am trying to be focused on being a doctor. I want to make people smile and help them by saving their lives. My grandparents (Banu and Ali Akbar Tikiwala), my aunt (Fatima) and uncle (Husain Tikiwala) are my biggest support. My sister (Insiya) is my best friend. Whenever I was unable to contact my parents, she stood by me."
