Madhya Pradesh district report card of school education department: Degrading quality of Public Education... Ujjain worst, Indore worse and Bhopal just an inch above
How the mighty Indore has fallen in school education! Well, all the way from 23rd rank to 42 inching close to bottom now. This can be seen in the district report card of school education department that was issued on Friday. More so, Indore division is the second last in the list of ranking, showing that deteriorating and possible the worst performing division.The only division performing worse than Indore is Ujjain. Bhopal is an inch up from Indore standing at 8th rank among 10 divisions in Madhya Pradesh.
Presenting the rankings of districts and divisions along with their performance, the report shows how Indore and other major districts including Bhopal and Ujjain have fallen in almost all parameters of performance.
The School Education Department has issued the District Report Card of the First Quarter in 2022 23 for Class II to Eighth. Districts were given marks and ranks based on every work and achievement performed in June, July and August 2022.
Director State Education Centre Dhanraju S shared that the ranking system was developed according to the instructions of developing the educational ranking system of districts of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
According to the district report card, Chhatarpur district bagged first place, Balaghat stood at second place and Chindwara secured third place. Similarly according to the division, Sagar division was ranked as the best earning first place in grading, Jabalpur division came second and Narmadapuram bagged third place.
“Niwadi has secured 10th position in 31 notch jump compared to the previous rankings. The same guna has ranked 22 this time, improving the previous ranking 51,” Dhanraju said.
These activities are mainly divided into 6 main parameters as: enrolment & stability; learning and outcome and quality; teacher professional development; equity; infrastructure and facilities; and governance processes and financial management.
