Chalo Mamma Walkathon on May 14
On Mother's Day, 'Chalo Mamma' Walkathon will be organized by Fit India ambassador Aarti Maheshwari with a motto to promote World of Fitness, on May 14 from 6 am to 8 am at Nehru Stadium.
Maheshwari said, “We all love our mothers and want them to live long, hence, be healthy.” With the same theme, she planned a special walkathon for mothers. “New mothers and experienced mothers will participate in this walk of 3 km,” Maheshwari said.
She added that more than two thousand people have confirmed participation in the same. “We are urging all fitness enthusiasts to take this walk with their mothers, mother-in-laws, aunts, grandmothers, and any motherly figure in their lives,” Maheshwari said. She added that this will also motivate children to be fit.
“The aim is ‘Fit Family, as we see that sedentary lifestyle is rising the cases of various health issues like diabetes, BP, heart problems, thyroid etc. in every house,” Maheshwari said.
She urged people to join the Chalo Mamma campaign for fitness awareness on Mother's Day.
