Indore students bag several Acting & Drama awards at 12th All India Cultural Festival, Goa

Children studying in Indore Deaf Bilingual Academy participated in the 12th All India Cultural Festival for Deaf Children, Goa, and were awarded for their excelling performances. Special awards for Best Actress Drama, Best Actress Mime, and Best Male Actor Drama were awarded to Indore’s students.
This program was at All India level in which the children of Deaf and Dumb organization stood first in Drama and second in Mime and got the shield. The team of students included: Suryansh Chouhan, Dhairya Goyal, Rishiraj Solanki, Tushar Khatik, Shreyash Kawadkar, Astha Singh, Shraddha Singh, Sanskirti Bajpai, Angel Patidar, and Janhvi Gorakhpuriya.
Students also bagged awards at The Purple Festival. The fest was organized at the international level by the Goa Administration in which all categories of disabled people participated. The program was spectacular and inspiring. The program was headed by Minister of Social Welfare, River Navigation, Archives and Archeology in Government of Goa Subhash Desai; Rohan Kot and Prasad Joshi from the fest.
The children were accompanied by instructors Swati Bapat, Bhagya Prakash Sharma and Sunil Patidar.
All the teams were congratulated by the organization heads Dhamani, Amita Marathe and Monica Punjabi Verma.
