Savoury Veggie Pie
Ingredients
For the crust:
• 1½ cups crushed tortilla chips or savoury crackers
• ¼ cup melted butter or olive oil
• ½ tsp cumin powder (optional)
• Pinch of salt
For the filling:
• 1 ripe avocado
• 1 cup cooked black beans or pinto beans (mashed slightly)
• 1 small onion, finely chopped
• 2 garlic cloves, minced
• Juice and zest of 1 lime
• ½ tsp chili powder or red pepper flakes
• ½ tsp cumin powder
• Salt and black pepper to taste
• ½ cup grated cheese (cheddar, Mexican blend, or mozzarella)
• 2 tbsp chopped fresh coriander (cilantro)
• 1 tbsp thick yogurt or sour cream (optional, for creaminess)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
2. Prepare crust by mixing 1½ cups crushed savory crackers or tortilla chips with ¼ cup melted butter and pressing into a pie dish.
3. Bake crust for 8–10 mins until slightly golden; let it cool.
4. Mash 1 ripe avocado with juice and zest of 1 lime; season with salt and pepper.
5. Sauté 1 chopped onion + 2 garlic cloves in oil until soft.
6. Add 1 cup cooked black/pinto beans, ½ tsp chili powder, cumin, and a pinch of salt; cook for 2–3 mins.
7. Combine sautéed beans with avocado-lime mix and stir in ½ cup grated cheese and 2 tbsp chopped cilantro.
8. Spoon mixture into crust, top with more cheese or crushed chips if desired.
9. Bake for 15–18 mins until warm and lightly browned on top.
10. Cool slightly, slice, and serve with lime wedges and yogurt or salsa.

DIY Game: Mission: Mom Possible
Materials:
• Envelopes or folded papers
• Pen or markers
• String or ribbon
• Tape
• A "Mission Log" (small notebook or printed page)
• Small rewards (coupons, treats, handmade gifts)
How to Make It:
1. Write 5–10 "missions" on slips of paper. Here are some examples:
o “Dance to your favourite song for 30 seconds.”
o “Guess this smell (blindfolded): [use a spice/herb].”
o “Tell your best mom joke.”
o “Do a catwalk walk wearing something silly.”
o “Find the hidden spoon using only ‘hot’ or ‘cold’ clues.”
o “Make up a 4-line poem about your favourite dessert.”
2. Put each mission into an envelope and decorate them with “TOP SECRET” labels.
3. Create a trail around the house using string, arrows, or sticky notes leading her to each mission spot.
4. Hand her the “Mission Log,” where she can check off completed tasks and collect points.
5. Set a prize level (e.g., 5 missions = a handmade crown; all 10 = super spa time!).

Upcycled Jar Organizer for Kitchen or Desk
Supplies Needed:
• Old glass jars (jam jars, mason jars, or any small glass containers)
• Twine, yarn, or ribbons
• Old buttons, beads, or small decorations
• Glue gun or strong craft glue
• Paint or spray paint (optional)
• Decorative paper or fabric scraps
• Scissors
• Stickers (optional)
• Washi tape or fabric tape (optional)
Steps:
1. Clean and dry the jars:
Wash the jars thoroughly to remove labels and residue, then dry completely.
2. Decorate the jars:
o Paint the jars or wrap them with twine, yarn, or ribbons for a rustic look.
o Alternatively, decoupage fabric or paper onto the jars for added design.
3. Add embellishments:
o Decorate with buttons, beads, or small embellishments.
o Apply washi tape or fabric tape for a neat finish.
4. Make it functional:
o Use jars for organizing kitchen utensils, pens, makeup brushes, or art supplies.
o Label with chalkboard stickers or tags for easy identification.
5. Arrange your jars:
o Group the jars together or glue them side-by-side to form a multi-jar organizer.
