A Celebration of Love, Gratitude & Togetherness
TINA KHATRI
Parents are our first teachers, biggest supporters, and lifelong friends. The Global Day of Parents is a special occasion to recognize their love, effort, and the guiding roles they play in our lives. Whether it’s through a handmade gift, a heartfelt message, or a shared activity, every gesture of appreciation matters.
This year, let’s celebrate with creativity, warmth, and fun. Below are thoughtful, engaging ways for children and families to mark this meaningful day together.

Activity 2: Short Poem – Tuana and the Maze of Hidden Eggs
A short and imaginative poem that can be part of the collage or inspire illustrations:
Tuana and the Maze of Hidden Eggs
Tuana woke to an empty nest,
Her eggs were gone — she couldn’t rest.
She raced into the maze of green,
Where twisty turns hid every scene.
She searched each corner, bush, and tree,
“I’ll find you all — just wait for me!”
Encourage students to draw Tuana’s maze, create their own endings, or turn it into a comic strip.
