This weekend, we’re diving into two very special occasions celebrated on July 7 — World Chocolate Day and Global Forgiveness Day. What better way to enjoy your break than by making your own delicious chocolate at home and exploring the power of forgiveness through a creative rhyming poem?
Get ready to become a little chocolatier with a simple homemade chocolate recipe that’s both fun and tasty. Then, warm your heart and stretch your imagination with a fill-in-the-blanks poem about forgiveness — a chance to express your feelings and learn how saying sorry can change everything.

Homemade Chocolate
Ingredients:
• ½ cup cocoa powder (unsweetened)
• ¼ cup coconut oil (or butter)
• ¼ cup powdered sugar (adjust to taste)
• 1 tsp milk powder (optional, for creamier texture)
• ½ tsp vanilla essence (optional)
• A pinch of salt
Instructions:
1. Melt the coconut oil:
Heat it gently in a pan or microwave until fully melted.
2. Mix cocoa and sugar:
In a bowl, combine cocoa powder, powdered sugar, salt, and milk powder (if using).
3. Combine:
Pour the melted oil into the dry mix. Stir until smooth. Add vanilla essence if desired.
4. Pour and set:
Pour the mixture into silicone moulds, an ice tray, or a flat dish lined with parchment paper.
5. Freeze:
Put in the freezer for 30–45 minutes or until firm.
6. Unmould and enjoy:
Pop out the chocolates and store them in the fridge (they melt easily at room temp).
