New Year celebrations are filled with fun traditions from around the world — in Spain, people eat grapes at midnight for good luck, and everywhere else fireworks light up the sky. Each culture celebrates fresh beginnings in its own joyful way.

Churros-Style Toast Sticks

A student-friendly snack that tastes like a carnival in every bite!

  • Ingredients: 6–8 slices thick bread, 1/2 cup melted butter, 1/2 cup sugar, 2 tbsp cinnamon.
  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 180°C. Cut bread into thick strips.
  • Step 2: Dip strips into melted butter, then roll in the cinnamon-sugar mix.
  • Step 3: Bake for 10–15 minutes until golden and crunchy. Serve with Nutella or chocolate dip!

Glitter Prop Sticks

Save money on photo booth props by making your own with upcycled materials.

  • Materials: Cereal box cardboard, aluminum foil, straws or chopsticks, markers.
  • How-To: Cut out shapes like "2026" glasses, mustaches, or hats.
  • The Hack: Cover them in tinfoil (shiny side out) for an instant disco effect! Tape your stick to the side so it doesn't block your face in photos.
