MP Board scales up evaluation as 40,000 copies to be checked soon

The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) has officially commenced the evaluation of 40,000 answer sheets in Indore, with the first 1,440 copies already processed.

The board has assigned 46 evaluators to manage the current workload. Veer Mishra, an official of the school education department, confirmed the process is on track: “We have completed evaluation of nearly 1,440 copies so far, and assessment of three subjects is under way at present.”

Enforcing Accountability

To ensure high standards, evaluators are limited to checking 41 to 50 copies daily. Mishra emphasized that strict norms are in place, including a penalty of ₹200 for every confirmed marking discrepancy found during audits.

Digital Progress Tracking

Following the new exam cycle standards, authorities are using a digital monitoring system to track progress across all centers. Out of a total projected 400,000 answer sheets for Indore, the first phase of 40,000 is moving at a steady pace toward the mid-April result target.
